Welcome to Miami: IWC’s Newest Boutique

Last week, IWC brought you an in depth look at what we consider the perfect watch for summer: the Portofino Automatic. In this vein, this week, we are pleased to transport you virtually to a place where it (almost) always feels like summer: Miami, Florida.

With its balmy beaches, al fresco dining, and proximity to Central and South America, Miami is a luxury travel destination, and an international hub for art, design, and style inspiration.

As such, we are very proud to announce the opening of our most recent North American IWC boutique, located in Miami at the renowned Bal Harbour Shops.

Miami officially became a city in 1896, almost thirty years after IWC Schaffhausen was founded. And while its average annual temperature of 29 centigrade (84 farenheit) is not terribly similar to the cooler Swiss climate of Schaffhausen, we believe it is the perfect place to extend the IWC brand.

Designed by our very own architects and designers, this latest retail experience embodies the masculine and sophisticated characteristics of the brand, with a distinct nod to its local surroundings.

Once inside, you can discover each of the six IWC watch families represented. One highlight of visiting an IWC boutique is the opportunity to see unique special edition watches that only we have. A second highlight is of course the impeccable service and care you would expect from IWC.

We’d like to welcome you to come visit, see our exceptional offering of timepieces, and of course learn more about the IWC commitment to quality and craftsmanship. And while you’re there, be sure to check out the Portofino Automatic. After all, it is a great watch for warm weather - something Miami has in abundance.
